This gorgeous and soft white alpaca carded roving has been grown from a small lovingly tended alpaca herd in Gippsland and carefully processed all locally within Victoria. Perfect for spinning or using as soft insertions in freestyle weaving.

Alpaca is a softer and finer fibre than wool and a great choice for those who are allergic to sheep's wool. It is ready to spin or can be combined with other fibres such as merino, silk or cashmere to produce beautiful yarns for a range of projects.

These rovings may contain a small amount of vegetable matter, as it is difficult to completely remove due to the environmentally friendly processing methods and the fineness of the fleeces used.
